Privacy and Policy
Privacy and Policy
Last updated: August 1, 2026
This Privacy and Policy explains how LeadHunting (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our email marketing and lead generation platform.
1. Who this covers
This policy applies to website visitors, trial/registered users, and people who contact us. It also describes how account holders (customers) may process subscriber/lead data inside the product — customers are typically the “controller” of that audience data.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, company, phone, billing details, plan selection
- Usage data: logins, feature usage, campaign send events, readiness checks, IP address, browser/user agent
- Contact form data: messages you submit on our landing page (stored as inquiries)
- Customer content: mail lists, subscribers, leads, templates, and campaign content you upload or create
- Cookies / local storage: session auth, CSRF protection, and basic UI preferences (theme/density where enabled)
3. How we use information
- Provide and improve the platform (lists, campaigns, automations, lead tools, deliverability)
- Authenticate users, enforce plan feature gates, and prevent abuse
- Respond to sales/support inquiries
- Send service notices (security, billing, product changes)
- Comply with law and protect our users and infrastructure
4. Customer lists & leads
When you import leads or subscribers, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to process those contacts. We process that data on your behalf to send emails, track opens/clicks (where enabled), manage bounces/complaints, and show analytics. Do not upload data you are not allowed to use.
5. Tracking for email campaigns
Campaigns may include open/click tracking links or pixels so you can measure engagement. Recipients can unsubscribe where you enable compliance tools. Configure your own privacy disclosures for your audience as needed.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with:
- Infrastructure and email delivery providers you or we configure to operate sending
- Payment processors for subscriptions
- Authorities when legally required
- Professional advisors under confidentiality
7. Retention
Account and billing records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for audits, disputes, and legal obligations. Contact inquiries are retained for follow-up and quality. You may request deletion subject to legal retention needs.
8. Security
We use access controls, authenticated sessions, and tenant-aware data scoping to reduce unauthorized access. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use strong passwords and protect API tokens.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal data we hold about you as a user, or object to certain processing. Audience members should contact the customer who sent them mail first; we can help route valid requests.
10. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries where we or our processors operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Children
LeadHunting is built for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy and Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you acknowledge the revised policy.
13. Contact
